VIDEO ANALYSIS OF YOUR COACHING 

I have been involved in Coach Education and Assessment for many years. Since 2004 I have worked as a National Assessor for Tennis Ireland. A few years ago I helped develop a system for Tennis Ireland to allow coaching exams to be submitted through video, rather than delivered ‘live’ with the Assessor in attendance.

This system has proved very effective, and got me thinking how it might be of use to coaches who are out in the field. If you are interested in an objective second opinion on a sample lesson delivered by you, simply film the lesson and get it to me. It could be an individual lesson or a group, adults or children – whatever would be most useful for you.

I will get back to you with thoughts and ideas about how you can become an even more effective coach, taking into account both the hard and soft skills required to teach tennis in the most effective way.
